We offer a wide range of boating services, including boat rentals, docking facilities, and a well-stocked store that provides essential items for our customers. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Reservation/Store Associates to join our team for the summer season, where you will be responsible for handling reservations, assisting customers in our store, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience.
Job Description:
As a Summer Reservation/Store Associate at Bridgewater Marina, you will be an integral part of our team, providing excellent customer service through in-person and phone reservations, store assistance, and efficient cash register operation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Reservations:
- Answer phone calls and provide information to customers inquiring about boat rentals and other services.
- Assist customers in making reservations, ensuring all details are accurately recorded.
- Confirm reservations with customers and provide necessary information.
2. Store Assistance:
- Stock and maintain inventory in our marina store, including items such as boating accessories, snacks, and essentials.
- Assist customers with product selection and provide information about available items.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and well-presented.
3. Cash Register Operation:
- Ring up customer purchases accurately, and handle cash and card transactions securely.
- Maintain cash register records, including sales receipts and transactions.
- Provide change and receipts to customers as needed.
4. Customer Service:
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist customers in a prompt and efficient manner, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of cash register operation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Effective communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling reservations and transactions.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
Work Schedule:
- This is a seasonal position for the summer months, with hours that may include weekends and holidays. Part-time and full-time positions may be available.
